The Hilaliyya Zawiya is a historic Sufi lodge of the Qadiri order in the al-Jallum quarter of old Aleppo, long known for its gatherings of remembrance and its tradition of devotional chant, which made it one of the homes of Aleppo's famous religious music. The zawiya lies in the lanes south of the Great Umayyad Mosque, between the souqs and the Jallum quarter. It is a small building around a courtyard and is still used for gatherings.
