The Turkmaniyya Tomb is a rock-cut tomb on the road that runs north from the centre of Petra towards Umm Sayhun. Floods have washed away the lower part of its facade, but above the doorway is the longest Nabataean inscription found in Petra. It lists the parts of the tomb, from its chambers to its courtyard and cisterns. It is the first tomb visitors pass when entering Petra by the back road from Umm Sayhun, and it lies near the path to Ad Deir.
