This viewpoint on Jabal al-Khubtha looks straight down on the Treasury from the cliffs opposite. It is reached by the al-Khubtha trail, a path of rock-cut steps that climbs from beside the Royal Tombs. The climb takes around an hour each way and ends at a small Bedouin tea tent on the edge of the cliff. It is best in the morning, when the sun lights the Treasury's facade.
