About Tomb of Unayshu

The Tomb of Unayshu is a rock-cut tomb of the 1st century AD on a rise above the Street of Facades. An inscription found at the tomb names Unayshu, a high official of the Nabataean queen Shaqilat, and the tomb is known by his name. In front of the facade is a courtyard with a banqueting hall cut into the rock beside it. It is a short scramble up from the main path on the right, soon after the Outer Siq opens out beyond the Treasury.
