The Silk Tomb is the smallest of the Royal Tombs, best known for the swirling bands of red, yellow and white in the sandstone of its facade, which give it its name. It dates from the 1st century AD. It sits between the Urn Tomb and the Corinthian Tomb along the face of Jabal al-Khubtha, a short climb from the Colonnaded Street.
