Doboj Fortress stands on a hill above the town, close to where the rivers Bosna and Spreča meet. It was built in the Middle Ages to control the Bosna valley, and the Ottomans later held and enlarged it as a garrison fort. The stone walls and towers have been restored, entry is free, and on summer evenings it hosts cultural events. From the top there is a wide view over Doboj and the valley.
