Dar al-Madinah Museum is dedicated to the history and heritage of Madinah. Its displays cover the city before Islam, the life of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ in Madinah, the development of Masjid al-Nabawi and the traditional crafts, homes and daily life of the people of Madinah. Highlights include detailed models of the Prophet's ﷺ mosque at different stages of its history and of the old city, along with old photographs and artefacts. The museum lies in the eastern part of the city and suits visitors who want to understand the background to the sites they see in Madinah.
