Banu Qurayzah were a Jewish tribe living in the south-east of Madinah who had a treaty with the Muslims. During the Battle of the Trench in 5 AH they broke that treaty and sided with the besieging alliance, putting the city in grave danger. As soon as the siege ended, Nabi Muhammad ﷺ led the Companions straight to their fortresses, and the Muslims besieged the tribe for some weeks until they surrendered. This mosque marks the place where the Prophet ﷺ is said to have camped during the siege. It stands in the farmland east of Quba, near the area associated with the garden of Salman al-Farsi, and it is a small, quiet site that few visitors know about.
