During the siege of Sarajevo from 1992 to 1995, more than a thousand children were killed by shelling and sniper fire. This memorial in Veliki Park, on Maršala Tita street, was raised to remember them. Families come to the memorial to remember their children, and it is a quiet place to pause and make du'a on a walk between the old town and the modern centre.
