The Tal Shihab Waterfalls are the best-known falls of the Hawran in southern Syria. They are fed by a group of springs, among them those of Muzayrib, and drop into a deep valley worn over thousands of years, flowing on through wooded gorges towards the Yarmouk. The falls and the green valley around them are a favourite place for outings and school trips, and they are at their best after the winter rains. The village of Tal Shihab lies above the valley, a short drive from Muzayrib.
