The Grave of Sam ibn Nuh in Nawa is a shrine honoured locally as the resting place of Sam, son of Nabi Nuh, whom tradition regards as the ancestor of many peoples. Nawa is an ancient town of the Hawran and the birthplace of Imam al-Nawawi. The shrine stands in Nawa, about 6 kilometres from al-Shaykh Sa'd and the shrine of Nabi Ayyub, and close to the grave of Imam al-Nawawi. It is a small place of visitation in the town.
