About Hijrah Exhibition (Quba)

This exhibition beside Masjid Quba tells the story of the Hijrah, the migration of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ and Abu Bakr from Makkah to Madinah in 622 CE. Through maps, models and multimedia displays it follows the route they took, their days in the Cave of Thawr, the long journey through the desert and their arrival at Quba, where the first mosque in Islam was built. It is a short walk from Masjid Quba and makes a good companion visit to the mosque, especially for families and younger visitors.
