Qasr Tuba is a large unfinished Umayyad palace of the eighth century, linked with the caliph al-Walid II and built mostly of fired brick on stone foundations. It is the most remote of the Umayyad desert palaces of Jordan. It lies deep in the southern desert of Amman governorate and is reached only by four-wheel-drive track.
