This small museum in al-Mazar al-Janubi stands beside the mosque of the commanders of Mu'tah, the shrines of Sayyiduna Ja'far ibn Abi Talib, Zayd ibn Haritha and Abdullah ibn Rawaha. It displays objects from the Islamic periods found in the Karak region, among them pottery, coins and inscribed stones. It is a natural stop on a visit to the shrines, and the battlefield of Mu'tah is a short drive to the north.
