This shrine at Rabba, in the Karak highlands, is honoured as a maqam of Sayyiduna Zayd ibn Ali Zayn al-Abidin, the great-grandson of Sayyiduna Ali and the scholar after whom the Zaydiyya are named. He was martyred in Kufa in 122 AH (740), where his shrine is also honoured. The shrine is on the Royal Committee's list and stands near the road from Karak to al-Lajjun, not far from the Roman ruins of Rabba.
