The Zawiya al-Afghaniyya is a small zawiya in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem's old city, endowed as a waqf for Muslims from Afghanistan. Like the Indian and Uzbek zawiyas of the city, it gave pilgrims from Central and South Asia a place to stay when they came to pray at Masjid al-Aqsa, often on their way to or from the Hajj. Its entrance on the Via Dolorosa is a plain stone doorway under a pointed arch, with a plaque above it naming the waqf of the Afghan zawiya. It is a few minutes' walk from the gates of Masjid al-Aqsa.
