Roshnai Gate, the gate of light, is one of the historic gates of the Walled City of Lahore. It opens off Hazuri Bagh between the Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort, and it is said to have been lit at night for the nobles and courtiers who used it. It is one of the few gates to keep much of its original form, with large wooden doors beneath a tall arch. The lanes beyond it lead into the old city.
