About Khidr al-Ansari Mosque

The mosque of Khidr al-Ansari stands in Haret Madwara in Bahari, the old quarter between Midan al-Masajid and the Eastern Harbour. It is named after a saint remembered locally by that name. Its tall stone facade and minaret rise over a narrow lane, and it is a short walk from the Mursi, Busiri and Yaqut al-Arshi mosques.
