In the village of Kazanci, south-east of Gacko in eastern Herzegovina, stand the remains of the mosque of Osman Pasha. Only its stone minaret still stands, rising above the ruins of the prayer hall. The minaret is a reminder of the Muslim communities that once lived in the villages around Gacko. There are no facilities on site, and it is best seen as a short stop when travelling through the area.
