At Krupa na Vrbasu, south of Banja Luka, the small river Krupa tumbles over a series of waterfalls on its way to the Vrbas. Along its course stand old wooden watermills, some more than 150 years old, once used to grind grain for the surrounding villages. It is a peaceful place for a short walk among the mills and pools, with restaurants serving traditional food overlooking the water. It lies about 25 kilometres from Banja Luka on the road through the Vrbas canyon.
