The Public Park of Aleppo is the city's great garden, covering about 17 hectares in the al-Aziziyya district on both banks of the Queiq river. It is home to works by many Syrian sculptors and has long been a favourite place for families of Aleppo to walk and gather. The park lies between the old city and the newer districts, a short distance from the Bab al-Faraj clock tower and the National Museum of Aleppo.
