The Dabbagha Mosque, known as al-Dabbagha al-Atiqa, the Old Tannery Mosque, is one of the old mosques of Aleppo, said by local accounts to go back to the Seljuk period. It takes its name from the tanners' quarter where it stood. The mosque lies on al-Mutanabbi street north of the Great Umayyad Mosque and is still used for prayer.
