Safasif was one of the markets of Yathrib before Islam. It probably lay in the lands of Banu Jahjaba, a clan of Banu Amr ibn Awf, in the area of al-Usbah west of Masjid Quba, where they had settled after leaving their earlier home. Nothing of the market survives. Its site lies in the south of Madinah, close to Masjid Quba and about 3 kilometres south of Masjid al-Nabawi.
