Masti Gate stands on the northern side of the Walled City of Lahore, just east of the Lahore Fort and beside the Maryam Zamani Mosque. Its name is generally explained as a corruption of Masjidi Gate, the Mosque Gate, after that early Mughal mosque. The gate has been restored and leads from the road around the fort into the bazaars of the old city.
