Kala Burj is a summer pavilion built under the emperor Jahangir in the north-west corner of the Khilwat Khana in the Lahore Fort. It is counted among the most important of the Jahangir-period additions to the fort and is known for the paintings on its vaulted ceiling. The pavilion stands on the northern edge of the fort near the Diwan-i Khas and Lal Burj, and is visited on the fort ticket together with the Shah Jahan and Shah Burj quadrangles.
