The Odeon is a small Roman theatre built in the 2nd century AD in Philadelphia, as Amman was then called. It seated around 500 people and is thought to have been roofed, used for music and smaller gatherings. It stands on the east side of the Hashemite Plaza, facing the Roman Theatre across the square. It has been restored and is used for concerts and festivals.
