This hilltop site at Listib, near Ajloun, is honoured as the birthplace and maqam of Nabi Ilyas, who is known in the old sources as Ilyas al-Tishbi after the village of Tishbe. It is on the Royal Committee's list of prophets' shrines. The ruins of a large Byzantine church with mosaic floors stand on the summit, among the oak and pine woods of the Ajloun hills.
