Lawrence's House is the ruin of a small Nabataean building on a rock outcrop in the open desert of Wadi Rum. Local tradition says T. E. Lawrence used it during the Arab Revolt, and the name has stuck. Only low walls remain, but the rock gives wide views over the red sands and the mountains around, and it is a common stop on jeep tours.
