This hilltop shrine on the road north of Salt is honoured as the grave of Nabi Yusha ibn Nun, the companion and successor of Nabi Musa who led Bani Isra'il after him. Shrines in his name are also honoured in Baghdad and elsewhere. The shrine and its mosque stand high on a ridge with wide views over the Jordan Valley, and the site has been restored by the Royal Committee.
