The Aqabawi Mosque is a small old mosque beside Aqaba Fort, about a century old and one of the historic mosques of the town. It is listed in the Ministry of Awqaf's report on historic mosques. It stands near the sea front in the centre of Aqaba, next to the fort and a short walk from the ruins of Ayla.
