Souq Danial is one of the oldest markets of old Rusafa, a maze of narrow lanes between the Mustansiriya and Rashid Street. It has long been the city's fabric market and is known today for cloth, tailoring supplies and upholstery at low prices. It lies beside Khan Murjan and close to the copper market of Souq al-Safafir, so it fits easily into a walk through the old city.
