The Great Mosque of Binnish is the oldest mosque of the town of Binnish, north-east of Idlib. Its prayer hall was built within an earlier basilica, whose rows of columns still stand inside, and the building has been a mosque since early Islamic times. The mosque stands in the centre of Binnish and remains its main congregational mosque. Its old stone columns and chandeliered hall make it one of the most interesting historic mosques of the Idlib region.
