The Well of al-Hujaym stood beside the fortified house of Banu Jahjaba in al-Usbah, where the first emigrants settled before the Hijrah. Nabi Muhammad ﷺ is reported to have drunk from it, and it is counted among the historic wells of Madinah. The well has been restored with a working pulley and is open to visitors in a date farm beside Masjid al-Usbah, about 40 metres from the mosque.
