Qasr Aliya, also known as the Palace of Azur, is a ruined palace near al-Juhfah, the miqat for pilgrims coming from Syria and Egypt. It dates from the early Islamic centuries, when al-Juhfah was a busy station on the pilgrim road. Its stone walls and rooms still stand in the open land about 4 km from the Miqat of al-Juhfah, east of Rabigh.
