Masjid al-Haram in Makkah is the most sacred place on earth for us as Muslims. At its heart stands the Kaʿbah, the first house built for the worship of Allah ﷻ and the qibla for our daily prayers. It was in this blessed city of Makkah that our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born, and it was from here that he began his miraculous journey of al-Isra wal-Mi‘raj, travelling to Masjid al-Aqsa, our first Qibla, before ascending to the heavens. This journey connects the holiest places in Islam and reminds us of the honour and barakah of this sacred land. Masjid al-Haram also encompasses the Maqam of Ibrahim, the Well of Zamzam, and the path between Safa and Marwah—sites filled with the legacy of Tawheed and the family of Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام. Every salah offered here carries multiplied rewards, and every moment in its blessed courtyard is filled with the mercy and presence of Allah ﷻ. It is more than a Masjid—it is the spiritual heart of the Ummah, where millions gather in unity, longing, and love for their Lord.
