The Shakir Ali Museum in Garden Town is the former home of Shakir Ali, one of the founders of modern painting in Pakistan and a long-serving principal of the National College of Arts. It opened as a museum in his memory in 1975. The brick house displays his paintings, drawings and personal belongings, and it is used for exhibitions, talks and small cultural events. It is open on weekdays.
