Jilani Park, still widely known as Race Course Park, lies on Jail Road on the site of the old Lahore race course. It covers around 88 acres of lawns, flower beds and woodland. The park has a long jogging track, a boating lake and a polo ground, and it hosts the city's spring flower show, Jashn-e-Baharan. It is popular with walkers in the early mornings and with families in the evenings.
