Rainbow Street is the historic street of Jabal Amman, lined with houses from the early twentieth century, when this hill became one of the first residential quarters of modern Amman. It takes its name from the old Rainbow Cinema. Today it is known for its cafés, restaurants and small shops, and for its views over downtown Amman.
