The Revelation Exhibition is part of the Hira Cultural District at the foot of Jabal al-Nur in Makkah, the mountain where the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to Nabi Muhammad ﷺ in the Cave of Hira. The exhibition uses displays, models and immersive presentations to explain how revelation came to the prophets and to tell the story of that first night in the cave. It is a good place to begin for families and first-time visitors, before or after the climb to the cave, and especially for those who cannot make the climb. The district also includes the Holy Qur'an Museum, gardens and cafés, and entry to the exhibition is ticketed.
