Bab al-Duraybah was a small gate on the northern side of Masjid al-Haram, close to Bab al-Salam, with a single door. It was renewed when Sultan Suleyman built his four madrasas on this side of the mosque, and it opened through an arched passage beneath the Suleymaniye Madrasa. In the nineteenth century the Suleymaniye library of the Haram stood at this gate. The gate was removed when Masjid al-Haram was enlarged in the twentieth century. Its site lies inside the present mosque, about 95 metres north of the Ka'bah.
