Delhi Gate is one of the historic gates of the Walled City of Lahore, facing east towards the road to Delhi, from which it takes its name. It marks the start of the Shahi Guzargah, the royal route that led through the old city to the fort. The gate has been restored, and the road beyond it leads past the Shahi Hammam to the Wazir Khan Mosque and on through Kashmiri Bazaar. The bazaars inside the gate sell spices, dried fruit and cloth, and the area is busiest in the evenings.
