The Khasaki Mosque is one of the old Ottoman mosques of Rusafa, built around 1658 by Muhammad Pasha al-Khasaki, then governor of Baghdad, in the Ras al-Qarya quarter near Rashid Street. It is known for its slender minaret covered in patterned brick and glazed tilework, which rises above the palms of the old quarter. The mosque has been under restoration in recent years, and it is a short walk from the Adiliya Mosque and the Mustansiriya.
