Nabi Yusha ibn Nun was the servant and successor of Nabi Musa, who led Bani Isra'il into the Holy Land after Musa's passing. Baghdad has honoured this shrine as his grave for centuries, and shrines in his name are also honoured in Jordan and in Istanbul. The shrine stands in the old Karkh cemetery on the west side of the city, near the graves of al-Junayd, Sari al-Saqati and Bahlul, under a mosque with a small dome.
