Wadi Muhrim, on the al-Hada road above Taif, is the upper part of the miqat of Qarn al-Manazil, the place appointed by Nabi Muhammad ﷺ for the people of Najd to enter ihram. Pilgrims coming down from Taif enter ihram at this mosque, which has washing and changing facilities for them. It is one of the busiest stops on the mountain road between Taif and Makkah. The lower part of the same miqat, at al-Sayl al-Kabir, has its own listing as Qarn al-Manazil.
