Masjid Sulayman, also known as Masjid al-Waqf, stands in Wadi Nakhb on the eastern side of Taif and is about 300 years old. Its stone walls have been restored and prayers are still held in it. It was restored in the first phase of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques, launched in 2018.
