This old mosque stands in the village of al-Qudah in the Haddad Bani Malik area south of Taif. It is attributed to the Companion Jarir ibn Abdullah al-Bajali, who is said to have built it after returning from Madinah, where he accepted Islam in the presence of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ. Built of local stone in the style of the Sarat mountains, it is still used for prayer. It was restored in the first phase of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques, launched in 2018.
