This shrine near al-Hamza is honoured as the resting place of two brothers, Sayyid Ali al-Zahir and Sayyid Muhammad Muzhir al-Din, sons of Mansur ibn Ni'ma, whose lineage goes back to Imam Musa al-Kazim through Musa Abu Subha. They studied in the Great Mosque of Kufa and served visitors to the shrine of Sayyiduna Muslim ibn Aqil, giving them water in remembrance of the thirst of Imam al-Husayn, and they are remembered for digging a canal from the Euphrates to his shrine. The shrine lies among orchards in the village of al-Bashiyya, in the al-Midhatiya subdistrict, a short drive from the shrine of al-Hamza al-Gharbi, and a paved road leads to it. Its gardens make it a pleasant place for families to visit.
