About Grave of Salim Abu Muslim

Sidi Salim Abu Muslim was born in 531 AH in Iraq to a family descended from Sayyiduna al-Husayn and settled in the eastern Delta. The village of Khalwat Abu Muslim is named after his place of retreat. His shrine is a registered antiquity, and his mosque stands beside it, near Abu Hammad in Sharqia.
