Sidi Dawud al-Azab was a saint whose lineage goes back to Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyya, son of Sayyiduna Ali. He passed away in 606 AH, and the village of Tafahna al-Azab near Zifta takes its name from him. His mosque and shrine stand on the mound at the centre of the village among the old houses. It is one of the largest mosques of the area and a registered antiquity, and visitors describe it as quiet and simple.
