This small dome is known as the tomb of Ali Najm, and also as the dome of the chief physician. It is linked with Ala al-Din ibn Saghir, chief physician under Sultan Barquq, who passed away in Aleppo in 1394 and was brought back to Cairo for burial. It stands in Haret al-Karabih in Darb al-Ahmar, near the Tentmakers' Market.
